Meet the Doctors
Dr. Stephen J. Pero is a native of Nashville, Illinois
and
completed his
undergraduate studies at St. Louis University. He graduated from St.
Louis
University Dental School in 1966, where he received his D.D.S.
degree. Dr.
Pero served in the Army completing four years of military service,
including
a tour of duty in Germany. He returned home to complete his pediatric
dental
specialty training at Columbus Children's Hospital in 1972. Dr. Pero
and his
wife Mary have four daughters, three grandsons, and two
granddaughters who
live both near and far, providing wonderful family time and vacation
locations! Dr. Pero is active in the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry
and the Toledo Dental Society. He is a member of St. Luke's Hospital
Staff.
In private life Dr. Pero is a prolific glass artist who enjoys
jet-skiing on
Lake Erie.
Dr. Michael P. Glinka was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. After
receiving
his Bachelor's of Science Degree from The University of Toledo he
completed
his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1970 at the University of
Detroit
School of Dentistry. Dr. Glinka completed his Pediatric Dental
Residency in
Cleveland at Case Western Reserve / Rainbow Babies and Children's
Hospital
and taught Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia at
Richmond before moving back to Toledo.
He is on the Medical staff at
St.
Luke's Hospital and on the faculty of The University of Toledo
College of
Medicine where he teaches in their Pediatric Dental Residency
program. Dr.
Glinka enjoys living here in Maumee.
Dr. Pero, having opened his pediatric dental office in Maumee in
1973, was joined by Dr. Glinka in 1975.
Dr. Timothy D. Voss is a former patient who was raised in
Whitehouse, Ohio
and attended Anthony Wayne schools. He began working with Drs. Pero &
Glinka
at a young age (his mom was a hygienist with
us for years) and found
his
inspiration to practice dentistry here in our office. He is a
graduate of
The Ohio State University, holding both a Bachelor of Science in
Biological
Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He continued on
at OSU
in the College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery
degree
in 2007. A year of Dental Practice Residency followed at The
University of
Toledo Medical Center.
Dr. Voss completed his Pediatric Dental
Residency at
Case Western Reserve University’s Rainbow Babies and Children’s
Hospital in
July 2010. He is a clinical associate professor at the University of
Toledo
Pediatric Dental Residency and he is also on medical staff at St.
Luke’s
Hospital. Dr. Voss is a member of the Toledo Children’s Hospital
Cleft
Palate Team. His recreational interests include golfing, cycling,
snowboarding, and Ohio State football. Dr. Voss, his wife Linnea,
and son
Davin reside in Whitehouse with their two Italian Greyhounds.
